Content: I recently received my very first jury summons. Call me crazy, but I've always wanted to serve on a jury. I think it's a privilege and a duty as an American citizen. Alas, it was not meant to be. Obviously, I was exempt from service due to my primary occupation; mom. But when I completed the online questionnaire and saw the big bold response: EXEMPT FROM JURY I couldn't help but consider how similar that is to what Christ has promised us. As a special needs parent you are always judged. Always in all ways. But when Christ died upon that cross for you, he exempted you. He exempted you from sin, he exempted you from Old Testament laws and regulations.
